    OUR COMMUNITY, OUR RESPONSIBILITY

    Why Oak Cliff?

    Why STEAM?

We help facilitate storytelling by giving voice and understanding to marginalized experiences by creating a cooperative, digital-based, production facility which allows community persons to create and share impactful audio & visual stories.

Dallas-Ft. Worth has the worst income inequality in the U.S., and its ever-so apparent in the neighborhood of Oak Cliff where residents, particularly students, are not afforded the same opportunities as their counterparts across town. Change in Oak Cliff has to happen now, and it is up to us to do it.

STEM+Art=STEAM. Underrepresented minorities are particularity underrepresented in the fields of science, technology, engineering, & mathematics (STEM), even as job opportunities in these fields continues to see unparalleled growth. It is imperative to provide opportunities for minority students that will undoubtedly prepare them to fill the growing demand. There are only a handful of programs currently available to unprivileged youth, and we are one of them.

    VOLUNTEER

We are looking for passionate agents of change to assist in bettering our community. Every person has the capacity to make a difference.
